Studio Withdrawals for Competitions

It is at each teacher’s discretion to pull their piece or remove a student from competing if the teacher and directors feel that the dancer(s) are not ready to perform due to the above requirements not being met.  Our policy is that as fees have been pre-paid by dansko on behalf of each dancer with the premise/expectation that they are able to meet the competition criteria, these fees will not be refunded to the class/dancer by dansko if they fail to meet these requirements.

Competition Fees

All competitive classes have paid a deposit of $20.00/competition for all choreography classes.  This is a deposit put towards your competitive fees, which will be invoiced in February 2019.  Estimated cost for each competition ranges between $40.00 – $45.00 + GST/dancer.  Fees are pre paid by dansko in November and are non refundable.

Showcase April 7th 1pm or 6pm at Oak Bay High school – all competitive students are invited to perform in our showcase.  Depending on how many competitive numbers your child is participating in they may be asked to perform in one or both shows.  This is a great way to get out the first performance jitters and it’s always a fantastic show to watch!!  Tickets and show order information will be emailed out in March.
